Important notes for Fax.Cat users

You can print your Fax.Cat number on your stationary, your web site, print promotions, business cards: you name it. Although it is an 0871 number, you are not required to include pricing information unless you will be receiving long faxes, 20 pages or more from a modern fax machine.

0871 numbers must be accompanied with pricing information for calls expected to cost 50p or over, that is, a 5-minute phone connection. A fax page usually takes between six and fifteen seconds to transmit so most users will not need to cite pricing information. However, if you will be receiving faxes likely to exceed a transmission time of 5 minutes, around 20 pages, then any mention of your personal fax number must be accompanied by pricing information.
