What is Fax.Cat?

Fax.Cat is a fax-to-email service. We provide UK (0871) fax numbers which you can forward to any email address.

How much does it cost?

Fax.Cat is free. Anyone sending you a fax will be charged at UK national rates (10p per minute from BT landlines). Please see the important notes regarding premium rate numbers.

Do I need any special equipment?

No, you just need an email address and Adobe Acrobat Reader to view your incoming faxes.

How long does it take to set up?

Your fax numbers are activated instantly, as soon as you sign up.

Can I set up multiple fax numbers?

Yes, you can add up to five numbers to your account and forward them to different addresses.

How long will my new fax numbers work for?

Numbers will work indefinitely. However we reserve the right to withdraw numbers that have not received any faxes in the past six months.

Can I receive faxes from outside the UK?

It's not possible to give a definitive answer for this, as some overseas network operators support dialling 0871 numbers internationally, others don't.

I forgot my password, what should I do?

Just enter your email address in our password recovery system.
